I'd rather have kept Mayo up here. Soto is a zero.
Happy Brown is going to stay, he seemed like someone destined to go onto bigger and better things.

Brown calls a good game. But I need Ben McDonald to enhance his repertoire. If I hear him say, "Tony Taters is in the house, folks" one more time, I'm gonna need to start actively rooting for Santander to strike out.

Good move optioning Mayo.
He struggled mightily and I think He'll benefit from the experience and some regular ABs at Norfolk.
Soto will back up Gunnar and Holliday.
We may see Gunnar get another day off soon with Soto being around.

Kevin Brown is insanely overrated IMO.
He's "fine"
There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

It may be more about context than it is directly about him. The O's have had a long string of really awful play by play guys in the booth

Brown gets a little weird sometimes but I like him and he does well with the others. Announcing an extension feels a little strange but it’s almost another f u to John A so I’ll allow it.

Personally, I liked Gary Thorne. He was entertaining, but he wasn't a great play by play guy.

I think Kevin Brown is excellent. He's got the potential of being another Bob Costas and I'm glad he'll be here in Baltimore for a while.
