I think they're more likely to get a real starter from a trade than free agency just based on the fact that we know they have prospects to move and we don't know if they'll ever go above 10M AAV for a free agency. Zero percent chance the Brewers extend Corbin Burnes and he has one year left so I'd imagine the Brewers will be fielding calls about him and the Orioles should certainly be on the phone.

And for Hall and Wells I think both in the bullpen is ideal. Your rotation from there is Grayson, Bradish, Means, Kremer and external option who is actually better than Kyle Gibson. That seems like the best way to distribute the pitching resources between the rotation and the bullpen.

If they add a legit starter and he's a righty, they should bring in wall some. I'd like it to be brought in some regardless, but if our top 3 starters are righties and we have some righty pop, the wall doesn't seem to make much sense in the short-term. I don't want more playoff series' where the wall advantages the other team.
Yeah the fact that they had basically the same home and road record I think raises some question about the wall's value to how this roster is constructed

Not saying they need to revert to pre 2022, but should be able to find a happy medium.

Thats why I think a non-platoon lefty like Bellinger, a switch hitter good from both sides like Santana is important.
It will take time, but you really could use it as a home field advantage if you build your lineup right.

Don’t mess with the wall. RH-heavy lineups would love for the O’s to bring the wall in.

It's not crapping on Adley to say he had a terrible series because he absolutely did.

Again, hes likely priced himself out of Baltimore but Jordan Montgomery is the perfect target.
I wanted him at the deadline and still think he is the right guy for the Orioles. At some point, the organization is going to have to pay one of these guys.
I wanted Montgomery and Jordan Hicks at the deadline. I would hope they would pursue both.

It was 3 games. He will learn form the experience and get better.

Rotation next year needs to start with Bradish, Means, GRod. At least another arm in that realm and really two. Just not sold in Kremer. He just can't get guys out.

I think everyone expects this to happen - it's the other two arms that get tricky.

Not in the way they could or should. But I place that at the feet of the Angelos family, not Elias.

Huh? Everyone expects the FO to bring back the top three guys. Isn't that part of their job? And the uncertainty about the other two spots is mostly about the number of options and the frugality of the Angelos family, and not that the FO of a 101-win team is incompetent.
