Please use it on stadium upgrades and not some nonsense outside. Don’t want to hear stories of broken sewage pipes inside while the MASN Bar and Grille is largely vacant outside.

Glad the lease is signed. I can do both. I can be glad and still not like who signed it.

Of course trust fund baby would try to make tonight about him with his little moment with the Governor in the suite and all, and announcing it in game. Par for the course.

Still hope they sell when Peter kicks the bucket. The grass isn’t always greener, but odds are it is much much much greener.

Even better news would be Gunnar and Adley being signed to extensions.

Excellent, regardless of the clown still in charge. I don't trust MLB any more than the Angelos family so I'm glad we won't have to rely on them to keep the team in Baltimore.

I hope he got his $600M and not a penny more.

Seems like that may be the case.

The agreement covers a guaranteed 30 years, with two five-year extension options, according to the Baltimore Banner, and enables the Orioles to unlock the $600 million in state bonds for stadium improvements. Same as the NFL’s Ravens, who signed a 15-year extension with options on Jan. 4.

Yeah, they are supposed to use them for stadium upgrades. But little john already said he wants to build something like Atlanta has outside the ballpark with it as a revenue stream and call it "stadium improvements". Which anyone with google maps can see is not really feasible, and engineers with knowledge of the grounds, the foundation where they could build, are telling him it's impossible.
The Ravens used their share of the money on things like updated plumbing, HVAC systems, lighting, not sexy stuff that we take for granted. I know Bisciotti has also paid out of pocket for other things like the facelift to the concourses, maybe the video board upgrades over the years?
If little john wants to build a mini retail strip where the profits are all his (although it would assuredly operate at a loss) he should do it with his own money. Not the taxpayers.

It's too bad that stupid money-losing, view-blocking Hilton hotel is there, because that would actually be a great location for whatever Angelos wants to do.

Still can't believe some people thought there was any chance the O's were leaving.

What's too bad is that they haven't upgraded the convention center which is the whole reason that hotel exists.

The logic in my head said they wouldn't leave, but I know to never trust the word of wealthy sports team owners.

They blew it big time years ago when Willard Hackerman offered to develop a hotel and a real arena if the city and state upgraded the convention center.

Lot A is also north of Lee St, although that's where the players park.
