5 innings, 3 er from a 4th / 5th is not below average. 

 

2 blow ups in 6 outings gives you little confidence.  
Just want who ever starts that Game 4 to give you a chance, and not totally implode. 

 

 

I'm not lowering expectations to that of what you'd get out of a 5th starter. Particularly when it involves allowing more hits than IP and leaving runners on base for a long arm to cleanup.
