If the Orioles can't put away a shit team like Oakland we should be worried about how gold they are going forward. Even the 2nd win of this series was anything but inspiring.

Bad teams win baseball games too, so I am not worried about one series, it is what the Orioles are not doing that is concerning.

Except for GRod this staff was always going to pitch to contact. No one else has a high K rate. That makes keeping that ball in the yard and playing good D all that more important. If the D is going to be just meh, let alone bad, its gonna be tough to get the wins we need to make the playoffs

True, but that does not excuse not making good pitches with 2 strikes, which is what is going on.  2 strikes does not have to end in a K.
