I'd rather have Fuji than Baker.

Ok with the roster but not sure about Kjerstad over McKenna. We have nothing RH off the bench.

Figured 12 pitchers. Surprised they didnt add Irvin. Especially with Means out.
Yeah, fair point.

Too much focus on what we did to win 101 games. The regular season becomes irrelevant once you reach the postseason.
There's a good chance the Royals would be up 2-0 on us the way we've played so far.
The only reason we have a chance is because you don't get eliminated until you lose 3 games and we've lost 2. But they aren't coming back from this. I hope I'm wrong.

We’ve had a day to pout, it’s time to find your sack and bring that faith for game 3. Don’t fake it. Let’s get back on board here, this series isn’t over.
10 times. Let's go to 11.

This is a good one. Texas won the first two in Toronto, lost the next 3.

Take it to the safe space thread.

I think we win tomorrow because Eovaldi is the type of pitcher we hit well. The offense got going yesterday and I think they'll walk into this game with some confidence. After getting Eovaldi out of there we'll continue to hammer their exposed bullpen. We just need Gibson to give us a veteran presence and keep the Rangers in check.
This is why I want Gibson over Kremer. The risk of implosion is less than if you run Kremer out there.
I will also add that the O's need a good game out of Brandon Hyde as well. Yeah, he played the right card by inserting Mateo in the lineup yesterday, but WTF was he doing letting Mountcastle hit against the righty Bochy called on from the pen with both O'Hearn and Kjerstad both being far better options on the bench. That mistake magnified later when Hicks launched a 3 run shot the next inning.

It's Kremer.

AH...going for the inside straight rather than the three of a kind I see.
Bold move Cotton.
I'll be tuned in just the same.

They just look like a team I don't recognize, and Texas is brimming with confidence. They know they're better. They're at home. It's not officially over, but it's pretty over.

I am fine with Kremer but I would have gone with Gibson, not just for the experience factor, but because he's a ground ball pitcher. I think that plays better against a mashing team like Texas. But no matter both going to have to help big time now.
