It’s not your imagination. I compared to 2016 prices and they’re significantly higher. I bought 12 tickets (4 tickets x 3 games) in 340 and it was over $1000
I am one section over. Bought 2 games x 4 tickets and spent 960

I probably just screwed up the whole season for everybody. Skipped the Wild Card Round, but got tickets to every ALDS and ALCS game (except ALDS Game 1 since I'll be on a sailboat that day).

I am confident we win the division. I skipped the Wild Card round too.

Got WC game 1 tickets and ALCS Game 4 tickets.
Hoping neither game takes place.

For this year's ALCS, upper reserved seats are $180, even in the LF sections that they mostly don't sell tickets for. Those same seats are $120 for this year's ALDS, so maybe the O's are pricing more aggressively this year.

Per the MLB At Bat app, for last night's game....
Orioles pitchers: 1 ball that was called a strike, 4 strikes that were called balls
Guardians pitchers: 6 balls that were called strikes, 1 strike that was called a ball
I watched the game and that absolutely tracks.

Os pitching is 7th in ERA. 6th in fWAR on the year.
From July on, 2nd in ERA and 5th in fWAR.
This is all of baseball mind you. Not just AL ranks. Pretty pretty good.

If you go on ESPN.com to the scoreboard, and look ahead to Saturday for the Division Series, it has the little ads for buying tickets.
Dodgers. Tickets as low as $27
Braves. Tickets as low as $78
Astros. Tickets as low as $54
Orioles. Tickets as low as $144!!!!!

I'm no Rays fan but that team deserves so much more love from a city than what they get. Really embarrassing in my opinion and you know the players wish they were somewhere else.

The Rays game only had 79% of tickets sold ....and they only hold 25K in the first place. Pathetic they didn't even draw 20K.

Apparently the Rays have learned nothing and plan to build their new stadium right back in St Petersburg where everyone hates to go.

Eh. It’s a two way street. Set aside the fact they’re on the wrong side of the Bay. You think Angelos is cheap with advertising and the $ they put into MASN? The Rays are worse. The whole thing is built around the notion that fans NOT care at all about the players. Only the laundry.

In-park attendance was up markedly as well - 1,936,798 (23,911 avg.) in '23 vs. 1,368,367 (16,893 avg.) in '22, increase of 568,431 (7,018 avg.), 41.54%. Only the Phillies and Reds had greater increases. Meanwhile, that other team MASN covers had the second-greatest decline - only the White Sox were worse.
