They aren’t handling the adversity well at all.
Because I like him Im gonna allow Herm to change his O/U 10.5 conference wins vote

Surprised Dickinson came back to school. Not that I expect him to be a high NBA pick, just seems pretty fully baked for what he is.

Good thing we got some size coming in the '23 class. Oh wait
Maryland has no size or inside game at all.

11 minutes left in the half. Goal would be to get it within 10 at the break.
You want to see them be resilient enough to work their way back into game, and not sleep walk to a 35 point loss.
They've got enough experience in their starting lineup, they shouldn't look so overwhelmed when things aren't going right.

Speaking of which Bacon just responded in the other thread. Plenty of people, me, here said go get Sean Miller. Xavier so much better positioned than us now
So, you're out on Willard? I can see not having much of an opinion yet, but I don't get being out on him.
While he's yet to add size, he's recruiting well. He gets the fanbase. There are a lot of good signs overall imo.
This year should be about being competitive most nights, and hoping to get into the tournament. Expectations got raised a bit with the early success, but we knew this team lacked both size and much depth.
They've got some good wins on the resume. They've shown they can play at a quality level. They've also shown they can look putrid for long stretches.
It's a long conference schedule. Going to see both extremes continue I think.

Make every single one of them walk home. Coaches, players and staff. 4 points 12 min in is beyond ridiculous

"Players need that positive energy."
I mean, I like it when you are having things go your way and you are focused on the minutia. And I prefer a supportive hand when things are going bad...
But sometimes you just got to call out the obvious.
Being down 25-4, going 1 for 17 from the floor... while allowing Michigan to start 11 for 18... there's a lot of things going wrong. Focus being one of them.

Im venting but clearly smoke and mirrors to start the year. Who knows. He will get a long leash. Expecting more than what Turge gave you in the better years seems unlikely. So whatever that means to you. Never having a chance to make a FF run is more apathy.

This has to be all coaching though. Like the players play and in that sense I try to always understand that when criticism of the coaches. This has to be on the coaches.
