I don't think the team is going to concentrate much on the financials, law suits, or trades. We have to get past Valentines Day before it's appropriate time to talk about those things.

You don’t want a distraction during the season do you? It’s not fair to take attention away from the players, better to wait till November.

Unless you’ve got a chance to add Brett Phillips in a playoff chase. Then you just HAVE to go for it.

It will be the November before an important election year. We can't distract voters so close before they must head to the polls and make weighty decisions.

Not much obviously interesting in that one. About the new governor planning to appoint a new head of the stadium authority.
It's not foolproof, but at least on Android if you click a Sun link, get the X (stop loading) button ready, and tap it AS SOON AS the page text starts to show up... you can usually read he article. Usually.

Just interesting timing given the lack of a signed lease extension so far. Thought it was appropriate.

I am not sure that I trust John to sign the lease anytime soon. The Ravens deal got signed, what is the holdup John.

One dime is too much to put in the pocket of Alden Capital. The quality is only going to get worse and worse as they bleed it dry. I'm rooting for The Banner.

Doubt the timing has anything to do with the lease. A new governor is always going to want his people in appointed posts.

Dunno if it still works, but it was one of the cheap ones, where if you loaded a pop up blocker or ran an incognito session in Mozilla, the paywall wouldn't trigger.

Elias is on the MLB Network right now.
Grayson Rodriguez will break camp with the ML team.
Does anyone recall Elias' exact words about Rodriguez breaking camp? I took Bob's post to mean that Elias had explicitly said that Grayson will be on the MLB roster. Did he actually say that? A bunch of people have recently hypothesized that Rodriguez would start at Norfolk, and I've wanted to reply that Elias already said that won't happen, but figure I better check my work first and confirm he actually said that since I didn't hear the interview myself.
