Bob Haynie and Jim Hunter had an interesting comp. For Henderson. It is a big one…George Brett.
Both came up as SS, had big left handed power, plus runners, and use the whole field.
Sign me up for that!

I want 4 LH hitters, or 3, 3, and 3. Not 4 RH. Especially when 1 is a rookie and the other two are Hays and Mountcastle. Its a recipe for 3 meh at best spots. Lower avg, no OBP guys who are trying too hard to pop the ball over the LF fence.
SS, Mountcastle, Hays, Westburg would be the only RHB in this scenario, no? 3 lefties 2 switch.

As he should. As they all should.
Yes and no. You have to let your power guys attack and try to drive the ball.
If they actually kill the shift, I think Adley immediately picks up 30 percentage points on his BA.

Hyde getting cute. He really is losing me. And btw the FO may have a lot of input into daily lineups. The on the fly in game calls are the coaches
That was not on the players. Adley was sent to draw the throw, and Ced took off. That was a called play, and IMO a bad one. Let Santander swing the bat.

Hyde has choked as much as any player over the last couple weeks. So many of these bad results seemed avoidable if other decisions were made. Hopefully he learns for the future just like the players, but I wasn't hoping for merely a good learning experience this month.

I am going to fire up the grill, maybe I will come back and the Orioles will have done the same.

Glad we had a waiver claim pitching in key moment of a key game in late September with a fully rested bullpen.
I would have kept Bradish in.

Quick question because maybe I'm behind....did Canada change their Vax entry policy? Wasn't it Santander and Akin that didn't go to Toronto earlier?

I think they got vaxxed cause Hyde made a comment about the team being 100% vaxxed last time they went there, I think.

No change to Canada's policy
