I missed that if it were the case. I think they were maybe just tired and not sure what else to say. Also was it Johnson last night or Roch? They sound kind of similar.

It was Johnson. I recall they had a long back-and-forth over Brown asking Johnson whether, as a pitcher, a game like last night was one you hoped you didn't have to enter as a reliever. Since DJ was mostly a starter it didn't apply, but he said no, you always want the ball.

While he's done very well to limit the damage to one run, a little surprised Bradish is back out. Guess after last night's funfest the bullpen needs the rest.

Feels like 4 or 5-0 with the way they’re battling Wacha today.

And that's why I was surprised. 3-0 feels like game over the way they're hitting today.

Ump is awful today.
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

That was vintage, unproductive out Odor. The stench overwhelms.

Is Mullins hurt? Martin can play 3B if you need to get Nevin's bat out at that point. Ugh.

The Red Sox are easily the worst defensive team I have seen this season. Sloppy all around.

A fielder's choice and wild pitch feels about like how they would score today.

At least he took Nevin's place. Imagine Odor, Nevin and Chirinos 7-9 at the same time. Mario Mendoza would be so proud.

My old man rant: One of the problems with today's game is the burgeoning thought process that suggests a sub. 200 batting average isn't as crappy as it once was.

I guess the present-day version would be the guy who struggles to reach a .400 OPS, though the Phillips Line just doesn't have the same ring to it.

Man alive did the Yankees whiff when they left Garrett Whitlock unprotected a couple years ago. So freakin dumb.
