JMO, but these guys are tired. He is a ML pit her but my gut is by the end of the year people are going to be complaining about the guys they were praising all year.
Baker isnt a nugget or particularly close to being one. Pretty much everyone else in the pen has earned their spot for next year. No matter what happens the rest of the way.

And right on cue, after TOR takes the lead, here's the rain. Goodnight.

Stowers 2-3 with a double and a Homerun tonight. Thought you'd want to know

Thanks, that really makes me feel better. BTW, I think the homer was a grand slam.

It was a Grand Slam btw. Westburg hit a 3 run shot and has 2 BB. Henderson 1-2 with 2 BB.

I listened to MLB network this morning and the guys were discussing trades, The were on the Brewers for trading strength(Hader). They said Pat Gillick would tell young execs to never do it. I guess Elias never met Pat.

I think its pretty obvious they dont want to use Vavra at 2b often. Westburg is playing there tonight and has been playing there a little more often. Could see him getting the call to play 2b or even 3b with Urias moving to 2b. May keep Odor and drop Nevin

They did get a BP arm back in Rogers. A guy who was closing for the Padres. Obviously not as good as Hader but a legit arm. In addition to the prospects

I'd rather have Mateo on my team than Odor. If Mateo can handle 2B as well as he can handle SS, Henderson slots in at SS and Urias stays put at 3B, no?

Oh, and what's wrong with slotting Vavra in at 2B until things shake out?

Seems Mateo is in he plans to stay at SS. Ive thought that and Elias said it too. Obviously that could change this offseason but I dont think it will. Gunner is likely the 3b by late April. 2b goes to Westburg or Urias. Thats if we are filling in spots internally.

Well there's that great defense Odor brings to the table you'd be missing.

In the past couple of games, I have seen Akin Joey K and now Baker bashed. I do not remember saying Baker was a nugget but he has worked hard this year. If these guys are done so are the Orioles this year. They have done a good job, mote times than not.

Elias said it isn’t a probability the O’s win a wild card and he’s managing the roster accordingly. It explains everything we’re seeing right now.

Probably nothing. We havent seen him at 2b enough to get a good sense of his defense. Seems the lack of arm is a real but the actual glovework I doubt any of us know.

Great to see Westburg get one tonight. I’d think they would want to see him get going on a sustained run before making the call. I’m not expecting them to start his or Henderson’s clock this year. Stowers I can see here soon.

Akin is a long man 7th or 8th guy but he has earned that spot going forward. At least for the start of 23. Joey K. If he falls apart I guess he isnt locked into anything. Perez, Tate, Bautista are all locks to return no matter what happens the rest of the way.
