The part about Brady was an eyebrow raiser. The assumption on my part, and many others I'm sure, was that Elias didn't have a use for him and was given ownership's blessing to let him go.

Usually, there's always one in every family that is disruptive, self-centered, unstable, coniving and seemingly always get their way. Lou has one and good luck buddy because you're going to need it. I guess its safe to say that John Angelos is the one posters should be directing their diatribe at.
In a filed complaint, which is where this all came from, you only get one side of the story. The defendant(s) get to respond. Not to say John may not ultimately be the villain he's described as, but we'll see. Sure does add some drama to an otherwise ho-hum losing season.
As for the moving thing, I think that's just speculation and there doesn't appear to be anything tangible that potentially backs it up. And given how F'd up this family is, and now they're pulling back the curtain on it, I don't think MLB wants them poisoning another market (and thanks to the league's antitrust exemption, they hold the keys to any relocation).

Oh, and kudos to The Baltimore Banner for finding this first. Maybe their first big story. I'd say The Sun was asleep at the wheel, but I honestly doubt they have any reporters left who would be assigned to be looking out for this sort of thing. Their newsroom is probably a ghost town these days.

Brimming with optimism for the future.
Yeah not the article I wanted to see. Was hoping things were different. I wish I was confident Baltimore would get a team if John decided to move to Nashville but I really dont think Manfred wants a team in Baltimore.

And why does John hate centerfielders?

Lets hope you guys are right about the sale. Still even if that is ultimately what happens it seems to me the ownership is unlikely going to be able to support the ML team the way they should over the next few years
