Alabama LB Shane Lee has entered the transfer portal. He's from MD and played at St Frances. He had a very good freshman season in 2019 with 86 tackles and made several freshman All-America teams. He struggled with injuries since then though and played little the past two seasons. I believe he only appeared in 3 games this past season, so combined with the 2020 waiver he ought to have 3 seasons of eligibility left. Locksley was his primary recruiter at Alabama.

WR Carlos Carriere has entered the transfer portal. So that answers the question as to why he wasn’t in New York for the bowl game.
He's headed to Central Michigan, where his brother Matteo plays.

He’s the Eagles’ leading all-time scorer, and currently holds the nation’s record for most consecutive field goals made with 17. He’s made 86% of his field goals during his career, and has never missed an extra point. He also handled kickoff duties.
He’ll have one year of eligibility remaining, and likely enters 2022 as the favorite to replace Joseph Petrino.

What's worse is when you add on that Holt has already transferred. I thought they already needed to add depth at SAM as it was. Now they probably need to look for a SAM1 in the portal.
Wonder if Robinson's leaving is in any way related to a lack of NIL opportunities, or more accurately better opportunities elsewhere.

Finding anyone in the portal this late in the game will be damn near impossible. Barham and Cowan will likely compete for snaps at SAM in camp, and Shockley may be able to move over from JACK depending on his coverage abilities. What's worse is when you add on that Holt has already transferred.
