Georgia a 2-pt favorite? Hmmmm.

[getting on phone to wager life savings on Alabama before line shifts]

Vegas should get itself tested for amnesia.

Hammered Bama +2.5 when I saw that come out last night. Feel like that line shifts for sure.

OK State is playing so fast the Irish can not get ready on defense.

OK state wiped out a 21 point Irish lead.

Impressive comeback for OK St.

Ohio State will try to end a 4-game bowl losing streak for the Big Ten.

Utah is the Pac-12’s last shot to come away with a single bowl win this season.

With nearly a quarter played there’s no question who the more motivated team is in the Rose Bowl. OSU seems like they just showed up for some CA sunshine and was content with that.

5 touchdowns in the last 2:43 in the Rose Bowl. What a wild game.

Sunset shots over the Rose Bowl simply never get old.

For the pro-expansionists, you might have some entertaining games among the 5-12 matchups. And obviously more games that actually matter, which means fewer players opting out.

In the end, you’d still have Alabama vs Georgia though. No chance one of Baylor, Mich St, Pitt or Utah would have fared any better than Cincinnati and Michigan did.

Largely agree, but still would like to see it.

Also, if the playoffs started in mid-Dec... I do think there would be upsets.  (Difference of Alabama having a month to prepare for Cincinnati... harder to upset, I'd think.)

For a premier team, Ohio State's defense has been underwhelming this year (nice 4th down stop on the last drive though); but their offense is hard to hold down for 4 quarters.

Harrison Jr. with his 3rd TD.  Tied at 38.

People can remember this second half showing from ND when they’re inevitably #5 or #6 in the playoff race again.

The Irish have been really good these last 5 years... but in that stretch they've lost the Rose, Cotton, and now Fiesta Bowls. Wins in the Citrus, and Camping World Bowls not quite the same lol.

Know they've got another strong recruiting class coming in, and the team seemed to be real excited about Freeman being named the HC.  Will be interesting to see how the next 5 years goes for them, and if they can break through in a bigger Bowl.

Utah’s freshman walk-on backup QB leads a game-tying drive with less than 2 minutes to go. Wow!

Oh look, Utah puts together a great drive to tie the game with their backup QB, and doesn’t go for 2 to piss it away. What is this crap? Guess D1 isn’t using analytics yet.

Matt Corral is hurt, and can barely walk off the field. Prime example of why players opt out.
