I don't like that he was sent back to the Minors. Not the biggest deal, he'll be up soon I'm sure.

It isn't the biggest deal, but it's the kind of stuff most O's fans are just completely fed up with at this point. Have some urgency. He was lighting it up.

He didnt light up AAA last year and he barely has any innings this year. Could also be a service time thing too. He should be up soon enough

It is service time, not could be. It is. And that's absurd for someone like Bradish. I don't care about the SSS. We've got a larger sample size for how awful a lot of the guys are who will be in the starting rotation.

He's on the 40-man, so he will have to stay down for at least 20 days in order to come up and then be shy of earning full year of service.
In general I'm usually fine with the roster manipulation to buy you an extra year of service, and I'm fine with it specifically regarding Bradish. I also would believe that there are developmental or innings limit reasons they want to delay him a bit rather than have him break camp with the team. Assuming he avoids injury or complete disaster at AAA, he should be up by early May.

Its not solely a service time thing.

Speaks to how high the organization is on him that they're willing to do it, you usually only see it with top prospects. But I also think its not strictly that, let him build up to be able to go 5+ innings when he does come up.

Bob - when do you think Bradish gets the call?
Early May as long as he performs they way he has shown he can.

4 innings, 1 hit, 0 BB, 6 ks
He should be up the next turn or two through the rotation being lined up with the 5th starters spot. Looked great tonight.

Kyle Bradish was listed as Triple-A Norfolk’s starter for tonight, but now Blaine Knight has been moved up a day. The Orioles have an opening in their rotation with Chris Ellis going on the injured list.
The rotation is really thin right now, so welcome to the Show, Kyle Bradish. It would be big if he can hit the ground running, since he is really the first key piece to arrive.

He gets to debut at Camden Yards, Hopefully there will be more Oriole fans than Jack ass Red Sox fans.
