Honestly, you find that funny?

You can say its inconsequential (and this one example is), but his temperament is not that of a leader.

And this isn't Republican bashing.

Can you imagine Hogan doing that? Dubya? Bush Sr (RIP)?

There is a level of decorum missing.

1) Yes..in the way that he’s such a child.

2) That wasn’t the whole quote..it was just the part shown in the tweet. He also said the American people are looking for hope and you are trying to sensationalize it. But of course, that part was left out.

Because even if you believe that, you don't say it because it makes you into the ahole instead of the reporter. And he's not going to get, and certainly doesn't deserve, the benefit of the doubt.

Well let's be fair to Trump and show the whole exchange.

I agree he shouldn’t say it..it’s why I said he’s a child.

There are better ways to get the message out.

The entire exchange doesn't make him look any better.

Btw, that was a softball of a question.

What has he done? The governors are the ones who really have done the work.

Considering how other presidents saw their approval ratings jump in times of crisis (see both Bushes reaching almost 90% in the aftermath of the Gulf War and September 11), imagine where he might be if he was doing a nonterrible job.

We gonna get a ton of "support your president, no matter what! We all gotta get through this!' vibes over the next eight months, I tell ya whut.

I'm hopeful that this will force Moscow Mitch into adopting mail in ballots nationwide.  It would be doom for the GOP though, so he'd really have to be forced into it.

As bad as Trump is, he's 100x worse.

Yeah my tinfoil hat when this first kicked off was "man, that's pretty convenient that there's a huge awful crisis coming this close to an election that someone has no chance of winning...."

He's got a great chance of winning, and did before this.

I know I opened the political talk in this thread, and we can continue it.
Think we're all being reasonable.  Let's try and keep it to how it relates to coronavirus and how we're dealing with it.

Bigger picture...  the stress level for all of us is up.
I appreciate the thoughts of all of you.  It's been helpful to see.  Good outlet for myself.

Be good to each other... here, and elsewhere.

He can pull out the "elections are a state-level function" party line. So it is up to reasonable people everywhere to try and get their states to make the switch.

He can pull it out... but non-Fox viewers will be informed that's BS... the Constitution says Fed elections are up to Congress.... states can do whatever they want about state and local elections (modulo other laws), but the Feds are in charge of Fed elections...

He's admitted his strategy during Obama was to do nothing, blame everything on him, and try to ram through as many judges as possible on both the federal and SCOTUS level.

That alone is enough.  But the last 3 years he's refused to bring major bills to even have a vote, like securing our elections.  Gee, why would anyone be against that?  Nevermind the impeachment stuff.

Right/Left whatever, you can't defend that guy.  That's how you know he's pure evil, and most likely the most harmful American of my lifetime.
