I know I'm crazy but it almost seems like the father is like the CIA CI in the drug ring or something and he's being protected. Like there's gotta be something more here. I can't think of a logical reason why they haven't searched the avocado house. It makes literally zero sense. It's truly mind boggling. The son seems like creeper central. And what is it about albino looking creepers that especially give me the heebie jeebies?
Listened to this over the past week as well. Crazy story. Yeah, the only thing I can think of is the Dad is some sort of major figure and they're trying to build a much bigger case. Like the story is much more than just this 1 missing girl. It's the only thing that really makes any sense.
The bit with the watch was particularly creepy to me.

Almost finished, it is indeed crazy.
I don’t see any way that there isn’t a Hollywood remake of it. Especially with all the writers stuck at home binging it.
Sam Rockwell as Joe Exotic
Jane Lynch as Carol Baskin
McConaughey as John Rinke
Val Kilmer as Doc Antle
Joe Keery (Steve Harrington) as Travis
Pete Postletwhaite's ghost as Rick Kirham (or F. Murray Abraham if it's gotta be someone actually living)
John Hawkes as Eric Cowie
a large bag of meth as John Finlay
Michael Shannon as Jeff Lowe
Dean Norris as Allen Glover
Jesse Plemons as James Garrettson

Fortunately for me, I had never seen even a single episode of The West Wing... man, even the pilot for hat thing was dynamite...this will keep me occupied for a while...
But JFC, during an episode in the first half of the very first season, the issue of a pandemic comes up.... (when Josh is given that special NSA card he doesn't wanna keep...)

Between your picks and these: https://www.slashfil...ger-king-movie/ I think we can make something happen.

Finished season 2 of Billions last night. It is a really good show. The writing is solid...not that deep or anything but they know their financial and law and pop culture references.

Tiger King went from goofy fun to just wtf.
So, all in all, thumbs-up or thumbs-down?

I can’t believe the case against him.
He must have had the worst attorney ever.

I've already given my thoughts on those first 3, but I am really enjoying Glow so far. Alison Brie is great in it!

I've been continuing to follow developments in this case since listening to the Your Own Backyard podcast.
Paul Flores and Ruben Flores were both recently arrested; Paul for the murder of Kristin Smart, Ruben for being an accessory. Apparently the police found strong evidence that a body had been buried under Ruben's deck and had recently been moved.
