Enjoying Billions so far. Only three episodes in but can’t help but compare it to Succession which it doesn’t hold a candle to.
so far.
Succession is really good... but not as good as Billions for me.

Started Your Own Backyard last night, and just finished it. So damn good, thanks for the recommendation. I love true crime podcasts. Any other good recommendations. This one was one of the best.
I'm sure there will be many good recommendations for shows but I recently started the Your Own Backyard podcast about the Kristin Smart (murder) disappearance and it's as good or better than Serial. One of the most thorough true crime podcasts you'll ever hear. And I'm not even finished yet.

Bear Brook was good, and there was a 20/20 show about the story last Friday. The podcast is a few years old so it may not include the most recent developments but there may have been an update. It's as crazy a case as you'll hear.
Your Own Backyard is the best podcast I've listened to. So thorough. And infuriating that everyone knows who the killer is and more than likely where Smart is buried but the police won't do their damn jobs to close the case.

I know I'm crazy but it almost seems like the father is like the CIA CI in the drug ring or something and he's being protected. Like there's gotta be something more here. I can't think of a logical reason why they haven't searched the avocado house. It makes literally zero sense. It's truly mind boggling. The son seems like creeper central. And what is it about albino looking creepers that especially give me the heebie jeebies?Bear Brook was good, and there was a 20/20 show about the story last Friday. Succession is a better show than Billions in my opinion.
I think I like it more because a lot of the business stuff on Billions flies over my head. I know, from the legal side, a lot of stuff has been said on Billions that I wouldn't expect "non-legal" people to understand.
There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

I like Billions better because I think the writing is superior... I really enjoy Succession but they feel more like caricatures to me.
But that's just me. Like them both a lot, so six of one, half dozen of the other.

Solid S1 finale for Billions.
Probably start S2 today.

My bride and I binged on The Expanse (amazon) a couple weeks ago...
All in all, I thought it was good and got better as it went...
The one big problem I had with it was that the main guy (the unofficial captain of the stolen spaceship) was the most horrible casting choice I have ever seen in my life. Which was odd, because everybody else was well cast... with a bunch of the cast being perfectly chosen...including the character who's from Baltimore and was happy to kill whoever needed killing... he got a lot better as the seasons progressed.
Anyway, if you like sci-fi stuff, it may be a winner for you (or not)... for me, it was well worth watching even though the main guy drove me nuts...

We've watched both seasons of Jack Ryan (they're only 8 episodes). Thought season 1 was great - season 2 didn't quite grab me, as there we just too many story lines that seemed to not really go anywhere. Which was disappointing to me, as it was set in Venezuela and I really enjoy South American culture and politics.
We then switched over to The Americans, loving that one so far.
