We Southern boys just don't get your alls' fascination with this band. Sounds like a bunch of gerbils dying.

Ironically, the lead singer and his brother (who is also in the band) is from Texas.

They're based out of Montreal so we're all southerners to them.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

I really enjoyed the concert on Saturday. Pretty good mix in terms of the setlist and I liked that the stage was a boxing ring at center court.

I just listened to Funeral all the way through again last night.

I remember that Tony thing too. "They sound like they shouldn't get past the state fair." And it was Avenged Sevenhold he had in high regard.

So, Avenged Sevenfold was nominated for a Grammy. So was Arcade Fire. Tony is probably going crazy.

They're doing an encore tour for Everything Now. Will be at Jiffy Lube Live and in Philly this summer.

I just bought tickets for the Philly show, which will be at the Festival Pier at Penn's Landing. It looks like it's about a 6,500 person capacity, all general admission, and on sand next to the water.

"We Used to Wait" is their best song. Come at me.

Lmao. Go to bed.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

It's a great song. I'm not going to say it's their best, but I'm also not hating.

It's hard to go against that choice!

I really love the title track too!

Pretty big fan of Modern Man as well.

All those songs are amazing. As is the entire album sans Month of May which never really did it for me.

Yea that song isn’t great. Neither are Modern Man or Rococo. The rest of the album is incredible. Still my favorite AF album

I like Sprawl II.

We Used to Wait is better.

No other song on the album captures the sadness and longing for childhood as you get older.

Here’s what happened...you went back and listened and were like, “God dammit NMS is right again!”

pretty crazy it’s been ten years already. But that album holds up. Listened to the whole thing recently.

New album out May 6.

Hope it's better than Everything Now. I think I listened to it once.

I like Everything Now much more than you.

Anyway, it looks like they're at least somewhat returning to their roots based on what I've seen them say and the songs that they've released so far.

Progressively taking longer between albums -- which is good, be dedicated.

The first three records are unassailable masterpieces (The Suburbs is still the best album to come out in the last 12 years).

Since then, meh.

Reflektor was ok and Everything Now is below average.

I say this compared to good music, not all music.

Either way, excited for this.
