How is that not a catch?

With all the talk over the years it “what is a catch”, that sure as hell looks like a catch.
If that exact play happens in the end zone for the Ravens, everyone here would say that’s a catch and a TD...not an incompletion.

I mean, he has clear possession and takes like 3 or 4 steps.

Yea, I don't get how that's not a catch..
But again, how can it be reversed??? it's certainly not conclusive that it isn't a catch, right??? I don't get it at all.
Very strange given the language they always use that it must be obvious in order to reverse.

Yea, you can’t reverse it.
Acting as if there is indisputable evidence right there is absurd imo.

That's my main point. Looked like a fumble to me, but I get it's a judgment call.

I thought it was a catch, but OSU, still had plenty of chances to win. The over turn was curious though.

THe championship game will feature this years #1 draft pick, vs. next years, likely #1.

Funny story, I was at a party watching the games last night, and there was a guy, there who was a Browns fan. He made a comment, wow, this LSU kid is really good. Maybe the Browns got good a year or two, to early. I had to ask, did I miss the Browns getting good. He didn't seem to think it was funny.

Michigan dominating in a lot of statistical categories and still can’t win.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Even when it's a relatively meaningless game, I absolutely love watching the Rose Bowl. Something about the aesthetics of that game that just can't be beat. Seeing the pink sky at dusk reflecting off the Ducks' chrome helmets at the start of the 4th Qtr kicked ass.

I get if you gamble or a fan of the team but outside of that, they just don’t matter.

It really feels like every non playoff bowl game is a waste now...especially with so many players opting not to play if they are going to be drafted.

Rob I am not so sure it matters to most that are a fan of a given team. Sure if BSU is in a bowl game I will watch and root for them to win. But that's mostly if I don't have anything else going on. If they didn't play in a bowl game I wouldn't miss it at all. And frankly I 'd rather have the coaches focused on recruiting during that time anyway.

It's not that they don't matter now, it's that the illusion that they ever mattered has been lifted. Although I think that has to do with quantity more than a playoff system

Agreed. It was dumb having the playoff games before New Years, and having irrelevant bowl games on or after New Years.
Also, I feel like playoff expansion shouldn’t happen. Even though in the past I lobbied for it. There really are two, three teams tops that are worthy of the title every year.

They mattered more in the past when players actually played.
But yes, they only mattered so much to begin with...but at least they were more watchable back then.
