Great school with great facilities.
Most folks would be shocked if they saw what
Dr. Smith has built over past 15 years.
(Just look @ Google earth)
Hopefully they can put something together sooner than later.
Many families from the area have traveled great distances to attend other private schools that do offer football. (GC, DM, CHC, Gilman, LB.)
I think Gerstell would succeed on the Gridiron,
IF they can get it off the ground.

Powers to be @ Gerstell met today to discuss football again.

They can definitely succeed. In fact they could be a nationally ranked team in 2 years. I’ll give them the formula for success. 1. Give 40+ full scholarships a year to kids all over the east coast 2. Provide free housing 3. Provide meals and transportation 4. Provide cleats, gear, and free training. 5. Pay ex-college players 80k/year to coach your team. It will cost Gerstall roughly $1 million a year but they will be a national power in no time.

I laughed really hard!!
I do think Gerstell could be a B conference team in a few years. We need more teams in the MIAA, especially as we see the decline of the big G.

I was told that the MIAA leadership is supposedly working on adding more teams. Just have to wait the process out. Stay tuned...I laughed really hard!!

You forgot a few items:
$1,200.00 Thursday night meals at Bateman’s.
$300.00 week for Hank’s RedBulls.
$400.00 week parking tickets on PA Ave Towson.
$10,000.00 annual donations to Mizz Dunn.
900K should cover it all.

Informed speculation. Gilman only has a varsity team and no JV or Frosh. B Conference teams have better numbers.
Neither does McD, but they’re not looking to move down. I have a hard time believeing that Gilman would move down with McD still being in the A. If this happens, I don’t see the Headmaster or AD’s lasting very long.

Hey guys - just adding a Rumors note to the title since this is still speculation.

I still think the MIAA should look into merging with the MPPSSAA. Everyone plays up a class or two. McD/Gilman/Loyola play 3A, CHC, MSJ, ASP play 4A. Or add Riverdale and Avalon and maybe try to pull Malvern down.
