Based on my limited observation, and Milford bias...There appears to be very few championship contenders this year. Milford and Franklin are 1 and 2, followed by maybe Dundalk, and the rest. New Town posted their first win ever (as far as I can remember) against Hereford. Hereford also lost a home game against Kenwood...

That’s pretty accurate to me. Add Edgewood and I think those are your four seeds in the 3a north playoffs. Woodlawn won’t gain enough points to knock Dundalk out and I think edgewood wins out
That's pretty much my take on that region also.

Not so fast...let's realize that Dundalk still has to play Parkville, Perry Hall, Milford Mill and Kenwood. If they somehow end up with 3 or even 4 losses Woodlawn could catch them, as long as they don't slip up and lose to Towson.

This was a dogfight. Milford was able to eek out a win minus 3 starters.

Give Franklin a break. Their starting QB left. Everyone counted them out this game. Nobody beat Franklin easy including DeMatha.
No one said Franklin was a bad team, but Milford is even better....they showed their metal last night under a difficult situation

Many said easy win. It was far from an easy win and they play again. Franklin lost their QB and still played them to the wire. Franklin has battled with every team including DeMatha. Their program deserves a certain amount of respect
Much respect to Franklin. Round 2 of this match-up should be just as exciting

Franklin has to worry about there possible Rd 1 playoff rematch with Edgewood before they even begin to worry about a rematch with Milford Mill
