Hereford was a state contender during the Turnbaugh era. They dominated the county, mainly because they had an outstanding coaching staff and an off season conditioning program that was only rivaled by Eastern Tech at the time. Other programs have since caught up and talent is winning. Hereford is now a county power. They usually don't fair well outside of 695... Just a few years ago, I watched them get absolutely destroyed in the play offs by Dunbar...I still dont see Perry Hall as a major player in the area. Franklin is the new "hip" program for front running parents...I dont mean that in a negative way...They used to have rosters loaded with special transfers. Outstanding coaching staff, and facilities are not all that bad....relatively speaking.

Private schools. Their youth league is a big recruiting area for 7-8th graders
One of the big problems with Randallstown is they had an AD...(don't know if he is still there) who just appeared to be going through the motions. Student enrollment has dropped dramatically and when New Town opened, the football program fell off...They have never recovered...but if you look at most private school rosters, you will see plenty of players from Randallstown...

I think BSL Chris is starting to get sucked into this high school football thing.. Stick around Chris more drama than an afternoon soap..I come here for the information and entertainment but mostly for the entertainment because I pretty much know everything (which one is the sarcasm emoji Guru?)

Haha. Back at ya. I don’t have that one. No fair BSLChris giving out special emoji’s to special posters. I feel descriminated against.

Woodlawn was up 34-6 going into the 4th. City scored twice in the 4th off the play of their QB. That kid can go.

When you check out the rest of the board, you'll see that I link to stories from lots of sites.
Only reason you only see Baltimore Sun links in the HS section... is that nobody else is writing about Baltimore HS football.
I don't benefit by you (readers) going to other sites. I post links to sites like SI, MASN, The Ringer, CBS Sports, ESPN, etc because I think they add to the on-going discussions.
