You could argue he earned it before this season even began.

 

Elias' approach is very clearly to take it super slow with promotions.  I wouldn't expect to see Kremer reach AAA this season.  I also wouldn't expect anyone at AAA to get a September callup unless they've already been with the big club this season.

I could maybe see Mountcastle, but I think you're right. Nice to see Elias has a good plan and he's sticking to it. It's been a while since I could say that about the Orioles minor league system.
