Sorry Dean, that's enough for now. Back to AAA. Will have to earn another opportunity, and will likely be in the pen.
I agree - send him down and let DL Hall or Drew Rom get their chance. Dean is straight BP

Agreed. He’s only proving it further to start the year, though it’s still April.
Hall is a RP. Been saying it for a year now. The sooner we get on with that the sooner we may have a legit high leverage lefty with strikeout stuff

Even if he got 35 starts and averaged 6 innings/start that only makes 210 innings. Just don't see it unless he finds an out pitch.

Pretty solid start for Kremer today. We need him to step up big time.

That well may be his best start we see this season. And we messed it up. But if he has found some more consistency what a boost that would be.

I was about to give in some on Kremer. Feels like he is pitching better but the advanced metrics still absolutely hate him. His xERA is 5.70. Bottom 10% in all of baseball. In '22 he outpitched his ×ERA by 1.20 runs. Last year he did it by.80 runs. So maybe there is something the advanced metrics arent catching. Maybe hes the new Chris Tillman in that regard. It eventually caught up with Tillman in a big way but if Kremer can do it for another year or two while under team control it wont be our problem when he hits the wall.
Its pretty odd for sure. Its much like what happened with Canada during the qualifying for WC 2022. They had the best record in the qualifying stage and outscored everybody. But the similar advanced metric, in this case Expected Goals, had them scoring way less than they actually did. In Canada's case the metric did catch up with them and they flamed out only scoring 2 goals in their 3 group stage matches.
Its possible that Kremer is truly an outlier whom for whatever reason is just misjudged by the metrics. I am with you 2025 but he's going on 2 years of his results being much better than the expected metrics say. At some point maybe the metrics are wrong?
