Yeah, thats not the full list of players they have met. Just the known ones. As I said earlier, Ill be shocked if they dont draft a TE by Round 4Yep. I do agree with Branden that you look at who they met with but its also possible they met with people we don't know about. They could have met with him at the senior bowl.
As I said yesterday, if they stay at 16, Goedert is someone I would want them to draft.

The love affair the Ravens have with tight ends is a bit much for me. I mean, unless the guy is Gronk, which no one is, and even Gronk is only Gronk when he plays which isn't as often as you'd like, tight ends aren't difference makers anymore.
Rather get a not very flashy tight end with really good hands in the 4th round than spend a first round pick on one that will be fractionally better, maybe, if at all.

2 questions (both assuming they stay at 16):
1) If Jackson is there and they pass on him, would you be upset by that?
2) Is there anyone(s) they could draft that you would hate to see drafted?

They are huge in the game today. I really believe TE is the position to go for before WR in this draft. (both need to be addressed of course)

My best case would be trading with NE and getting their first and higher second.
Come away with one of Goedert/Gisecki, one of Jones/Guice/Michel/Chubb and one of Gallup/Kirk/Miller.

We arent getting the Pats 2nd rounder to go from 16 to 21.

They are pick 23...but I actually meant to say their 2nd first rounder.

Points value chart if anyone wants it. Its probably not 100% accurate to what the teams use but should give us a rough idea and some kind of reference point:

Yeah, but wouldn't improving the O-line, or playmaking wideout that makes Flacco look better be better for him too? We thought Maxx Williams was going to be "that guy" and he clearly isn't. Nick Boyle has done just as much form the 5th round as Maxx from the early 2nd.
I'd just wait until much later.

2) Is there anyone(s) they could draft that you would hate to see drafted?
1. No, only because the Ravens would need to rid themselves of ancient MM in order to use him correctly.
2. Any defensive lineman or tight end. Also not high on Vander Esch.

1.) no. I wouldn't be mad if they did take him either.
2.) I honestly don't think there is anyone they could take at 16 that I would be mad about. Unless it's a 4th round graded prospect or something like that. I'm going in to tonight prepared for them to go with anyone from any position.

Man it sure would be awesome if we could turn that 16th pick into both Moore or Ridley (I prefer Moore) and any of the TEs (I have no preference as to which).

1) No, but I would hope if he's there and they're not picking him, that trade talks are seriously ratcheted up. Especially with the smoke about their interest.
2) Hate is a bit strong, but I'd be disappointed if they drafted Vea, for reasons I mentioned earlier.

I'm finding myself unexpectedly excited for tonight. Playing 9 holes after work, probably eating Chicken Rico for dinner, and then watching the 1st round. Pretty, pretty, pretty good.

I think a lot of people would hate to see Rudolph drafted tonight. Or if they in fact do go ILB.2 questions (both assuming they stay at 16):

ILB is probably the last position I want to see drafted (besides K and P, of course).
If I had to rank my preference by position (assuming there is someone worthy of #16 at every position) I'd go:
WR
TE
QB
DE/OLB
S
CB
T
DT
C
G
RB
ILB

Ranking ILB below RB, that seems off to me. I'd also put S higher on the list than QB and DE/OLB, but I've got some general problems with Eric Weddle (though Martingale's more adaptive system might solve that).
