I hope that’s not the case for the 16th pick. A lot of mixed opinions on him even being a first rounder.

Biggest immediate difference with the Browns taking Mayfield, is that their odds of getting Barkley also increase.

If they took Darnold, the Giants would likely take Barkley.

If Cleveland takes Mayfield, the Giants probably take a harder look at Darnold I'd think.

Also makes the 4th pick extremely important.

If the Giants take Darnold and Jets take Rosen, that only leaves Allen. Whether this tweet stuff hurts him or not remains to be seen but it means that 4th could be a hot spot for him. Browns May be able to get both of Buffalos 2 first rounders (and maybe more).

That means Barkley falls to at least 5 and could really drop some after that. Chubb and Nelson would still be sitting there too.

Depends how much they are in love with one of the QBs.  If they love one QB above all others, then I think they have to take that QB.

But considering each of these guys have issues, I agree with you.

Chubb should be the pick before Barkley.

I would argue that they should take Chubb and Barkley with their 2 picks. I’m not convinced any of these QBs are that great. Just take the 2 best players.

Actually, what I really think they should do is take Chubb 1, trade the 4th pick and take the BPA in spots they trade down. Maybe still end up with Allen or Jackson.
