Unless the Warriors chemistry is going to suck or Cle/GS suffer major injuries, the regular season and first rounds of the playoffs are just a waste of time.

We will. Because the talking heads need something to say
But the bottom line is he is the best player in the league and his performance in last year's finals is what needs to be remembered.
There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

I do agree that it seems the finals are predetermined. Disagree that it's a "waste of time" because it's basketball and it's fun to watch.
I hope the new CBA addresses these "super teams" and figures out a way to stop them from forming

Only so many teams that can win the title, but there are a quite a number of interesting teams.... interesting in either style of play, or how they are attempting to develop their rosters.
Definitely a long season... if they don't want to shorten the season, probably a good thing to try and give the players as much rest as possible between games.
That link Mike Lowe posted in this thread about the sleep issues made a lot of sense.
