Btw all speculation on my part but I'm convinced Buck would prefer Bourn to Kim. Faster, better D. Maybe a worse bat but not by much. Also convinced UJ would be gone if it were up to Buck. DDDD doesn't want even more egg on his face if they are released and end up producing for another AL team on our dime

If you're talking specifically about yesterday in the 9th Castillo is the one who should've pinch hit if anyone. But he's cold off the bench. Hardy had already hit a HR. I'm willing to bet Buck PH at about the same rate as most AL managers

JJ had hit a HR early in the game plus lined out to deep right too.  Kim often looks over matched against hard throwers and had sat there all day.  Not sure he is a better matchup.
