Well, as much as I hate to admit it, this is correct...
Listen, I truly believe you're a better person than I am... you're fair to a ridiculous degree
But is there *no* baseball player you just plain dislike? Hell, even Frobby has it in for a select few... do you?

The best thing about being at home watching KC play in the WS is knowing that Bautista will be doing it too... because he didn't hit the cutoff man....
Reminded me of when they played the Orioles and the whole thing about him being thrown at, by I think Garcia, who couldn't command anything at the time. So, on defense he tries to throw out someone at 1B on a single and in the process throws out his arm. Smart move, Jose, enjoy the DL.
Now he can watch like the rest of us. I hope his baseball IQ never changes.
That was Delmon Young who then told Bautista, "you aren't that good."

Thanks for the kind words, but I just consider myself a little more rational than the average fan. You guys don't truly "Hate" any of these people, they're just like you and me, but they're all really good at sports.
They all have wives, girlfriends, kids, mothers, fathers...etc. I don't know any of them, so no, I don't truly dislike anyone. But if you thought about it rationally, you don't dislike anyone either.

Well, of course... but this is about fandom, so I don't see what being rational has to do with it

It doesn't, you're right. No right or wrong obviously.
You were commenting on how fair I seem to be, that's all I was responding to.

No need to be pedantic, you well-mannered motherfucker!
Seriously, are there no players who even annoy you? Not by being good vs lousy, but in terms of their apparent persona?

Ha, well, fuck you then!!!!
How's that?
Seriously though, sure there are and have been players that annoy me, I get it with Bautista for sure, Matt Harvey seems to be quite a little diva (but he's a Tar Heel, so...). I'm sure there are others (Papelbon comes to mind), but I just really Love Baseball, and don't care as much about the other shit. I don't need any of these people to be my friends, just entertain me for a few hours every day from April-October. I don't take it too seriously.

I'll be pulling for the Mets, but my dislike for the Royals certainly has abated, and I do believe they've matured a bit since last year. So I'm fine with either, but would prefer the Mets. Just glad it's not Toronto

Yeah, me too... they were real jerks when they spanked the O's... but they were oh-so-much better when they did the same damn thing to those dicks from Toronto

Guess I'm over last year. I typically root for the AL in the World Series (except when it's been NY & Boston)... think I'll be rooting for the Royals.

And it'll be easier when the Orioles sign Gordon, Zobrist, and Cueto this offseason!

Raul Mondesi Jr. is on the ML roster, could be the first player ever to make his ML debut in a World Series.
Terrance Gore taken off the KC roster.

Are the Mets still carrying Reynolds? He would be in the same situation, though I'm guessing it's more likely the Royals use Mondesi as a pinch-runner.
Also, an interesting list to see would be the youngest players to appear in a World Series game. Mondesi is 20 years, 92 days. This MLB page says Fred Lindstrom played in the 1924 Series a few weeks before his 19th birthday.
