Lebron opts out. Will be a free agent. Cleveland sucks. He'll go to the Clippers. Had his fun in Miami. Takes his talents to the other fun, celebrity laden city in America. Clips have a supporting cast he needs too.

No chance.

This was an expected move, and he'll return to Cleveland.

Does he get more money for opting out then signing again? With Love not coming back, the team is worse. Why stay?

I think all the haters want to see him rip the fans hearts out again.

Love will go back too.

This was the plan all along apparently.

I wil say this....this is kind of where I can agree with Branden.

LeBron has said he wants to see what they do in free agency.

Now, I don't think he will leave but it's that type of statement that pisses people off.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a push by the union to get players to at least opt-out.

Stopppppp. He wants the most amount of money. He can get that only if he opts out. He's not leaving.

Free agency kicks off with Anthony Davis agreeing to a 5-year/$145 million contract extension with the Pelicans. It will go into effect for 2016-17.

Meanwhile, the Spurs and Kawhi Leonard agreed to a 5-year/$90 million extension.

Lots of stuff going on now, but the Spurs are the headliner. They re-signed Green, traded Splitter to the Hawks to free up cap space, and are now meeting with Aldridge with the ability to offer the max and as the perceived frontrunner after the Lakers apparently made a meh impression on him.

The Spurs...wow.  Leonard, Duncan, Parker, Aldridge...with Green coming back too.

Toronto makes a nice move by bring in D. Carroll.

The Blazers and Damian Lillard are close on a 5-year/$120 million extension. And it looks like Dragic is staying in Miami on a 5-yr/$90 Million deal....he was a crucial re-sign for Riley, moreso than Wade.

Mike Budenholzer did a huge favor for his former boss....taking Splitter off SA's hands pretty much clears the path for the Spurs to give Aldridge a max offer + keep Green.

Is that too much for Green? Is his shooting and defense worth that?

They could probably let Milsap walk now that they have Splitter.

I think they overpaid him but if they can land LA it will be worth it because he will complement that team so well.

Agreed.

Carroll to the Raps is interesting, another smart move as Toronto could really use his sort of presence on the wing.

If LA goes to San Antonio, the Lakers may have to end up with Greg Monroe.

Can we break the podcast out of retirement and do an NBA offseason round table?

3-D guys have a lot of value in the league these days, and have for some time in SA's system (Bruce Bowen). As for the money, it probably won't seem like much in a couple years.
