I can't think of anyone outside of the industry that really captured...like...the entire aura of wrestling the way McAfee does.

I mean...Rousey, MAYBE?

Yea, Rousey is probably fair.

I thought macafee was going to be a disaster.  He was good against Cole and got better in the War Games match.

He seems better than some of the talent they have had or the regular roster.

Raw is terrible. I have not had a chance to watch Smackdown in a while due to work. How is it?

The best show they have is NXT, which coincidentally is the only show, Vince does not run.

Smack Down is pretty good.  The Reigns story line is excellent.

BTW, in regards to Raw, the talent is there but the story lines are brutal.

McIntire is the best big guy they have had in years.

As bad as the weekly shows have been, the PPVs have been really good this year.

Last nights TLC PPV was very good.   Drew And Styles with the Miz joing late was excellent.

Reigns/KO IMO was even better.

The main event was good but very strange.  Frankly I could have done with the fire BS.

Keith Lee- Drew Mc. Was very good main event last night.

When it was over Vince played his oldie card and had Goldberg challenge drew at RR

That was fun the first time he returned. But it's very disappointing that this is what Vince think the "Universe" wants. A match with 3 moves executed maybe a total of 7 times. Over in 2 minutes or less. Huge reason why WWE soured on me. I thought it was amazing when they gave Balor the Universal title right off the bat. Too bad with the injury he relinquished it, and they never gave him his due again. Guys like him, Ricochet, they can wrestle circles around the bigger guys probably. And Big guy versus little guy matches tell the best stories.

Ambrose was my favorite, and he was very much misused before he left. The women's division was more entertaining, less so with Becky gone, I guess Charlotte has been gone too, haven't checked in lately. But I loved Becky, so without her, I'm kinda out there.

Roman Reigns does nothing for me, though awesome what he's overcome the last two years. But his matches on TV are superman punch, spear, kickout, missed super man punch, counter with a superman punch, spear, win. On PPVs just add two extra kickouts for dramatic effect because the rule is an PPV your finishers don't work the first or second time. WWE has gone to that well a billion times.

I caught Keith Lee right around the time I checked out, and dude is impressive. I just assume WWE would screw it up. If he's not a title holder and doesn't win the RR and headline WM, they are screwing it up.

Love me some Kevin Owens, face, or heel, but not enough for me to keep up. He'd be a fantastic fit in AEW since you have to be 6'5" and chiseled, or over 40 to get main event slots in WWE i guess. (Lesnar probably set to return I guess soon [eye roll]). Owens has a strong motor, will take a beating and give one, I'd love to see him in AEW. But I also don't want AEW to become WWE cast off either. Rusev/Miro is there and doesn't really have a spot yet. 2 hour show once a week, it's probably tough to get everyone in. But it also makes the cream rise to the top.

Yeah I’ve had enough Goldberg. I’d like to see Riddle kick his ass honestly.

You know I was kinda there too. Even though he was my favorite back in the day. But then I watched the Broken Skull Sessions with him and Austin and was shocked at what he is like off camera. He’s actually realllllllly smart and a good dude.

They go into character with him and what bothered him about wrestling. I can’t believe they didn’t eventually break the curtain with him like Taker did and let his character go a different direction. He easily could have been a HHH-like leader, cerebral, strategic and he liked football more than wrestling cause he likes being part of a team. Him leading a young stable of guys that haven’t been getting a shot and need some direction (Ricochet, Riddle, Lee, and another NXT guy maybe?) really could have worked. Like the anti-corporation.

He is facing Drew McIntire at RR.

The championship match is usually a throw away match at the Rumble, so I guess Vince could not help himself.

I was wondering if they were setting up for another Saudi event. Those usually happen right after that, and you know those guys are obsessed with the older guys from the good ol days.

I think Saudi is off until the pandemic subsides.  The WWE is staying in Tampa and Orlando from what I hear

That's what I would expect, but who knows with these people. We still don't know what absurd number they threw at Vince to make those happen in the first place. Effectively it was enough that they booked a private WWE Pay Per View a couple times a year. That has to be SILLY money. Especially cause I think Matt Riddle got like 50k per Saudi PPV he does, if that's just him, I wonder what the other guys are getting. There HAS to be a metric ton of money involved on those.

I believe GB and Taker got 1 M to go to Saudi.

I remember hearing Saudi was paying big money for specific stars.   Supposedly Cena turn down over a million because of principal.  Daniel Bryan too.

I do not believe either wrestling company has left Florida since late March.

Must be something insane if it's that much JUST in Riddle's contract (he's the only one to resign recently, since they are cutting salary). I'd love to see what the overall numbers they gave Vince to do it at all, and then what the individual bonuses are. Also really interested to see if they can keep things afloat WITHOUT that Saudi money. I know they should be restricted and shouldn't be able to go...but if they flew on a private plane let's say, and since Saudi sets their own rules, I wonder if they could make it happen if they wanted to. It'd be stupid, especially with our numbers so high, but if the prince is paying this much money for guys, I wonder...

I literally just put it together but WWE referee Jessika Carr used to work out at a gym I worked at 10 years ago.  She was there everyday and one day we struck up a conversation and she was telling me that she had just lost a lot of weight because she was dreaming of being a pro wrestler but she had hurt her knee pretty bad and wasn't sure of her chances.  We were not close or friends but we said hello when she came in, and I haven't seen her or really even thought of her in years.

The WWE guys used to use that gym whenever they came to Baltimore or DC.  One time they were there and Jessika was there too.  I saw her talking to Cena.  Later, I asked her how it went.  She said, "I asked him what he thought my chances were of making it in wrestling with my knee injury and all."  He told her her chances weren't good and maybe she should think of something else.  I'm sure Cena was just trying to let her know how competitive that business is.  But she just shrugged her shoulders and kept coming to the gym everyday.

And now she's a WWE referee.

She was a regular ref at the NXT shows that were held in Harford County.  I got to talking, to one of the other refs early last year about football, and where he could go to get good crab cakes, and she stopped by and told me, not to help him, he was a Steelers fan.  She laughed and then yelled go Ravens.(I had a Ravens jacket on.)..I took it to mean she was a Raven fan.

McIntire and other WWE talent test positive.

I have not seen last nights show, but it sounds like they had a skeleton crerw.

Lee, Sheamus, Flair, Riddle did double duty.

HHH also had a "fight" with Orton>
