Germany should take care of Greece, too.
I think today's game will be a good one, although I think Portugal will win without too much trouble.
England-Italy is the best game of the quarters, but I have a suspicion that England will handle them surprisingly easily.
So I'm predicting Spain-Portugal and Germany-England, with the Germany-England winner taking the whole thing.

France really was not impressive yesterday. I expect Spain to handle them easily.

Agree with this. Can't wait for Italy-England, glad it's on a weekend. Rooney came back and promptly reminded people why he's one of the world's best. Which reminds me of my rant:
Why in the world are the semi-finals on weekdays? I get that the EURO Cup is called "Euro" for a reason but interest in the states in getting bigger and the Euro Cup is perhaps the best display of international soccer in the world.
Everyone in Europe can see these games because they are in the evening, local time, but here in the states, putting what could be an incredible semi-final game at 2:30 on a Wednesday makes it very tough to watch.
Couldn't they play the knockout stages at different times on the weekends? You could play two sets of quarters on Saturday and two on Sunday, play the two semis next Saturday and then the final the following weekend. It really only adds one week to the tournament.
Meh, or maybe Europe doesn't care about Western interest in football.

It'll be interesting to see if the German machine will be derailed by the Greek tactics of parking the bus and playing for that one break on goal.
I think we got our answer to this loud and clear.
The Germans are a scoring machine. They seem to me to be on a mission.
I think Spain is far-and-away the best overall team in the tournament, but the Germans can beat anyone by simply outscoring them. I don't think Italy would stand a chance in hell against Germany, but the English might be able to play them close enough to pull out a win.
I have changed my thinking... before I was picking the Germany-England winner to win it all. I now think Spain can beat England if England can somehow get past Germany. But I still think Germany is taking this whole thing.
