I'll do some nitpicking.
1-2: Bundy, Gausman - fine.
3-4: Almost certainly will be Harvey, then Ed Rod, on most lists. I don't really care, but on upside it's Harvey. Ed Rod's slow, stead and impressive progression is great to see so far though.
5: Schoop, Most will have him here, and I think they're right. I do want to see him healthy and hitting consistently to be confident that he deserves to have the position held for him.
6:10 - I think Wright, Sisco and Ohlman need to hold these positions, probably with Ohlman at 6. He had a big year. If his defense is decent, his prospect status will have helium. If not, still a potential LF type.
After these 8, I think it's a crapshoot. Some nice follows in the low minors for sure. A guy like Walker probably belongs too. My guess is some of the pitching should go there, but I'm not sold on Davies as top 10.

Parks said the other day on twitter we have 3 pitchers (obvious who it is) in the top 30 in baseball, and Eduardo would be top 100. Potential role 7 projections for the top 3.

What's "role 7"?
Nice to see Harvey have such a great start to his professional career, but he's still incredibly young a lot has to happen before we start projecting him to be helping the MLB squad.

For all the talk of how bad the farm system is, and I agree that the depth is lacking, 3 top 30 players and a top 100 (top 50 to some) is really good. Schoop may be on some top 100 lists as well. After that, it's not strong.

I dunno if it's exclusive BP lingo, but I haven't seen it many other places. Role 7 is a legit #2 starter to them. The higher the role the better the player.
We might want to get Rob and Mike to ask Nick about it next time he's on, he should know better than me.

I always forget about Harvey. Nice to see good things about him. Three in the top 30 is pretty good. Five in the top 100 is pretty good. After Schoop though it really falls off a cliff. At least when Delmonico was there he was a 6-10 range guy with good upside. I don't see anyone to get excited about after Schoop.

Has BA always had someone like Melewski or he himself compile these lists?

I always thought it was their group of guys(Like Manuel, Callis, etc...) and their info was from a lot of scouts.

Used to be. Guess it's changed.
Who is their "face of the company" right now? With Callis leaving for MLB that's probably a big reason why. I know whoever did it before would talk at length with local writers and stuff, but it still was that team's overall opinion.

I don't really trust Melewski's ability to evaluate but I do trust that he talked to the right guys, so I would guess that what he says is similar to what BAA would say in terms of who he talked to.
Big reason why the BP list is better...you have guys like Nick, on staff, who actually evaluate the talent themselves.
