So someone named "Ricker" who lives in Germantown, who loves the Orioles and who works at a bank based in Buffalo.
Yea, they'll never find you
This has been helpful for my anxiety!

My pops says am-buh-lance and says the lance part really fast. Lie-bary too.
I'll say this to those of you who think you don't have it - you do. Its impossible to hear because you're around it all the time.
Sammy, I'm curious. A guy on my boat is from York, hasn't lived there in 20+ years, and I'd swear he's from Pasadena. Does it exist upair?
Yes, it's up here. I hear it a lot on radio commercials. It must migrate as Marylanders come north. However, it pretty much stops at York. I grew up in Harrisburg and people up there tend to speak like people from Philly or Pittsburgh.

When I was at school everyone would make fun of me for saying "on" and anything with an "o" in it.
I got progressively more Balmer as I drank more.
But coming back home, I definitely picked up on it more.

I've never heard someone, in normal conversation, say "Bawlmer". "Baldamore" is the more used version.
Baldamore, Maralind.

Do you speak it?
Just curious. I know a few people that have the traditional, "stereotypical" Baltimore accent, but it's not as common as a lot of people outside of the area think it is, I'd think?
So...how do you pronounce "water," I guess?

I stress my o's in the typical way, but unlike my parents don't go for the wudder's, warshington's, etc.
However, when I go out of town (i.e. when I was at X), people definitely ask me about my accent, so it's certainly prevalent and possibly gets more "attention" away from other Baltimore people.

I don't have the sterotypical East Baltimore accent... but like Chris, when I was away at school in Florida... they heard something.

Yes you do.
There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

No you're not that bad but you def have a Baltimore accent.
The only time I notice the accent with me is when I say "come on" it sounds like "come ahwn"

So hold on.
Because people brought up Nestor.
If there's one famous person (not counting Nestor, I guess) that you'd point to for having the accent, who would it be?
