Really cool to see the WBC grow over the last 20 years. Cool to see more US players opting to play in it as opposed to sitting out. Other countries take this thing seriously, we should too.
I was laid up with kidney stones in 2006 the first year this took place and I was watching games with Panama/Netherlands at like 6 AM. It was a lot of fun then and it's still fun. That Ohtani vs Trout showdown in the last tournament was one of the coolest things in baseball history. At least in my lifetime.
Can't wait for this next year.

I'll never forget that AJ catch.
Because I buy Astros tickets, I'm in some sort of lottery to get tickets to a game in Houston. I don't expect to be picked, but I'll do whatever I can to get to one of the games down here. I really don't care what match up I see. But it would obviously be amazeballz to see the US team
