Not surprised to see them better than the Blue Jays but definitely a good sign.

I'm shocked, SHOCKED, that MLB would introduce a system that cuts out the loopholes for the smaller teams to exploit while the bigger ones continue to do whatever they want.

FOX ANNOUNCES DATES FOR 2014 MLB SCHEDULE (Awful Announcing)

May 24th (primetime)
May 31st (primetime)
June 7th (primetime)
June 14th (primetime)
June 21st (primetime)
June 28th (primetime)
July 5th (primetime)
July 12th (primetime)
July 15th (Tuesday, All-Star Game at Target Field)
September 6th (early afternoon)
September 13th (early afternoon)
September 20th (early afternoon)
September 27th (early afternoon)

This schedule is a bit of a shocker - no baseball on Fox until Memorial Day weekend, and no daytime baseball on Fox until September. I never thought I'd see the day.

Of course, it's assumed that on the weekends Fox isn't airing baseball, the Saturday game will be airing over on Fox Sports 1. Fox Sports 1 is also expected to air mid-week baseball games, likely simulcast from local affiliates, and will be airing Spring Training baseball as well, confirmed in this release by Fox Sports West stating that their games on March 3rd and 4th will be simulcast on Fox Sports 1.

Holy God I'm sick of hearing about how awesome the Red Sox are.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

@Dave_Gershman 2014 will be the first MLB season since 1978 to not feature a single player born in the 1960s.
