Curling, snowboarding (freestyle and half pipe...the ones with tricks), and speed skating are my favorite events to watch. Luge, bobsled, and ski jumping also constantly amaze me that anyone even tries to do it.

Probably not the two man luge though. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

I enjoy and will watch literally all of it. Especially the winter games where there's so much less going on and it's easier to follow more sports.
Much prefer any sport that doesn't include judges though. Give me alpine skiing, speed skating, short track, bobsled, hockey - any sport where the fastest/highest/strongest athlete wins.

I just haven't been able to get into the Games much this time. I've watched a little curling and skiing and that's about it. It was kind of weird watching the one ski event (some sort of tricks) where they are going down this giant ramp that they decided to build next to the power plant.

It's like a bad knockoff of the Cruisin' World arcade game. The ski-jumping tricks are incredible, but agree the backdrop is hideous.

538: Without NHL Players, Canada And The U.S. Went From Men’s Hockey Favorites To Also-Rans
I find that the more mainstream the sport, the less I care about it in the Olympics. Basketball, hockey, soccer, tennis, boxing...just not as interesting when the Olympics aren't the biggest stage for the competitors like they are for the other sports. Or maybe I'm just ignorant as to how important Worlds and other non-Olympic competitions are for the other events.
