I know that was a common thought last night, not so much here, but you knew going into the game that would be the focus. ESPN didn't just randomly choose this game. If it bothers you that much, there's the mute button and you can listen to WBAL. It didn't bother me in the least.

Like I said, I totally sympathize with everyone involved. Just didn't need it crammed down my throat every half inning.

Buchholz looks like he's on early. I hope Chen is bringing his A game.

I don't like Johnson Wall-to-Wall, unless he is talking about pitching... when he talks about the mentality of players, or pitching mechanics he can add something of value.

Markakis grounds out, 1 down.

Only thing I don't really like about him is his attitude towards prospects about trading them every time because they are unproven. I get where he's coming from about not overvaluing them, but he's off-base here.

Well, even though Davis isn't hitting for power at least he's taking his walks. Hopefully the power starts to come sooner than later.

Like how patient Davis has been even though he hasn't been hitting the pitches he is swinging at.  Sometimes when he gets cold, he tries to hack his way out of it and extends the zone.

Yeah I get it, I just think you had to know(not you specifically) this came with the territory when ESPN picked the game.

Oh, Ross is catching.  Didn't Gary say Napoli was catching?

Gary usually doesn't know who is playing where for the O's. He's 50/50 at best for opponents.

My guess is Palmer left after the game on Saturday afternoon and Bordick was unavailable for this game? Remember when Tom Davis did that game in Detroit because both Thorne/Hunter had conflicts? I think it might've been the same one where Mark Reynolds was thrown out (and Buck?).

Dammit.  Hit it well but right at Gomes.  Though he still felt the need to dive.

Did Gomes need to dive there?

O's done in the 1st.

He definitely had the ball in his glove when he left the ground.

Well, hopefully Chen can keep it close today. As nervous as I get every time he takes the mound, he has been one of our better, most consistent pitchers over the past couple years. Amazing he's only allowed 2 walks thus far, it seems like he's always shaky with the strikezone.

Would be great timing for a good start from Chen.  7 innings 1 R or something.

I really don't like Boston.  It's sports.  It's people.  Anything.

Chen always seems to get ahead early and then next thing you know it's a full count.

Allowing 1 run with this lineup behind him would probably mean a loss.

So glad I sat that dick for fantasy today due to thinking our Orioles could bust out the wood today....instead it loks like they may break out the wood in my butthole today.
