I'm digging the cold front.
When you're sweating your balls off in mid-October the South isn't very generous.
There are 3 months a year where jeans make any sense.

Yea it's nice to talk about living in the South when it's 30 degrees here. But it's miserable there most of the year.
For perfect weather ya gotta go west and don't stop till you reach the Pacific

I agree. But it’s perfect from Halloween until May every year. That’s 6 months of awesome.Yea it's nice to talk about living in the South when it's 30 degrees here. But it's miserable there most of the year. For perfect weather ya gotta go west and don't stop till you reach the Pacific

Not San Diego.
West coast is overrated.

I had a cousin that couldn't take the Maryland winters anymore and moved to Florida. He was back in 3 years. He couldn't live with the summer heat.
I do a couple of long weekends in Ft Lauderdale to break up the monotony of winter. It sucks to come back to cold weather but it gives you something to look forward to in January and February.

Winter vacations are the best. Going to Playa del Carmen in February...looking forward to that already.

Not San Diego.
I'll give you that. But perfect weather doesn't mean much if you can't get into the water.

This is why I like the Sarasota trip every early March.
Gets you into nice weather.
Yea, it sucks in January and February here weather-wise, but I'll still take it any day of the week over summers in the South.

I'm not sure I understand the thought process. Baltimore summers are just as bad as the South. Its just a few weeks shorter on either end. Just my personal preference but snow is much worse than having perpetual swamp ass.

I don't mind some snow. It's when we're getting 2 FT storms every week for a month and a half that it starts to get crazy. Oh and my office never closes 99% of the time so I get to do all that shoveling just to get to my car so I can head on into the office! Give me some snow days, and I'll take all the snow we can handle.

Umm, perfect weather means a lot regardless of if there's water at all!
But I did enjoy being in the ocean in SoCal when I lived there and during my visit this past summer. So while the water isn't as warm as it is here in July-September, you absolutely can get in it.

Mostly agree. The summers here are close to as bad as in most of the South, and I'd much prefer to avoid the cold.

I can deal with the snow. If its going to be freezing cold, give me snow.
But cold with no snow is awful.

Wet and unseasonably warm weekend forecast.
Ugh.
Christmas has been too warm the last few years.
It does look like it gets very cold on 12/26 though so I am guessing Christmas is going to be windy.

Looks like we are going to luck out, the cold air is coming sooner than what they first thought. Should feel like Christmas (cold). There is even talk of a few flakes late Sunday night. That would be awesome but I'm not holding my breath. Just happy for Chilly temps on Christmas.
