Back roads still bad in MoCo but we only got 4'ish. No way schools are open tomorrow. Just drove through a.l neighborhood nearby and it was completely inaccessible still.

Not a ton in Ellicott City.  The ice was easy enough to scrape off and the roads this afternoon were fine.

They'll refreeze a bit tonight, which sucks.

I doubt they open schools tomorrow.

Yeah, I typically leave for the MARC to D.C. at 5:30 AM, so leaning towards one more telework day to avoid any of that frozen mess tomorrow. Plus they're saying tracks will probably freeze, causing a ton of delays. They delayed schools 2 hours already, but it's not even going to get above 30 tomorrow.

Perfect storm imo. Enough to close schools and offices but not enough that it killed you shoveling. And everything seemed to melt today so not much will freeze overnight. Everything here looks pretty dry and the sun was out.

Roads are dry here. There's no melt that will refreeze.

Just washed wife's car in time for a nice sized cell to move through. Was just about to grill too. Mother Nature sure is a See You In Toledo sometimes.

Kinda bummed to be unable to help. Those stalled storms are almost worse than the major hurricanes.

Record low temperatures tonight in MD PA areas. Harrisburg's record low is 23, suppose to be in the high teens...

Just walked outside. Holy shit it's cold. Haven't had the heat on yet this season and it was still off last night. 57 in my house just now. And now the heat is cranking. Bring it on. I'm ready.

I'm with you. Ok with it now but talk to me in March. I hate winter. Put me in Sarasota.

BTW, we are supposed to have a bad winter this year.  Lots of snow in the forecast.
