That what they did in the community, their sport and their organization should matter in this type of discussion.
Neyer is using that same thought process here.

Marquard appeared in a short silent film subtly called, “Rube Marquard Wins” where Marquard punches out a gambler who dares suggest he throw a game then gets kidnapped by said gamblers, then is saved by his best girl (who alerts the building super) and wins the game!*
*This is a better plot than Trouble with the Curve.

Deadspin: Most accurate MLB fandom map ever created
http://deadspin.com/...-map-1555222593
Obviously some issues with methodology (for example, I don't like the Orioles on Facebook because I prefer to minimize the amount of advertising I see), but probably pretty accurate. Remember that VA and NC are MASN broadcast territory and seem to be overwhelmingly in favor of the Yankees and probably the Braves even though holy hell those colors in the legend are impossible to tell apart

You couldn't give the Nats a different color than the O's? C'mon Deadspin.

I posted this on FB and that's the exact kind of comment I got.

While I agree that orange and orangey-tan are nearly impossible to tell apart, the Wall Street Journal made the map and Deadspin complained about the same thing

One reason why MASN can't get broadcast in North Carolina is because the Orioles/Nations have limited fan support. Most polls show that people living in North Carolina are most likely to support the Braves and Yankees.
