Johnny Fratto is reporting that Eric The Midget/Actor has died. It looks legit as his Twitter account has been taken down.
R.I.P.

That really sucks if true.

It's been confirmed.
He was rushed to the hospital yesterday with heart problems. Supposedly, he was found to have multiple organ failure.
R.I.P. little dude.

Said it before, but the production value on the history of Howard is tremendous.
Yesterday heard the Ch. 9 days, that is how I found the show.
Its funny to hear how different his voice is now vs then.

It is very well done and I have been tuning in this week but the earlier years of the show are borderline unlistenable for me.

The non-Artie years (before and after) are way lower on my list. Early years a very rough listen. Some of that is just differences in what is funny 3 decades later.

James Ransone is on the Wrap Up show, played Ziggy from The Wire. I went to high school with him. They're talking about how people who say they were fans of the show when it was on HBO are all liars. Not here, I watched the debut on HBO on June 2, 2002 and I bet a lot of people followed the show in Baltimore since it was set here.

Same. Ever since OZ, been on pretty much every HBO series of note.

Was anything about him Ziggy-like?

Howard Stern has been getting bored quickly with the callers lately. I guess everyone needs to call and talk about David Letterman. That's the only thing that has ever held his attention for more than 3 seconds.

Listened to some Sternthology yesterday with Johnny Frotto, Eric the Actor, and Artie.
Frotto died over the weekend, so they were playing a lot of his old calls which usually involved ETA.
It struck me that both Frotto and ETA are now dead, Artie tried to commit suicide, and Robin had cancer within the last few years.
Pretty crazy.
