You know, now that I think about it, I may add Hoosiers to the Rushmore.

Field of Dreams

Rocky

Remember the Titans

Hoosiers / The Natural

Honorable mention: Major League, Bull Durham, Rocky III, Rocky IV.

It's been a while since I have seen The Natural and I know it gets bogged down in politics and but it has the best scene in any movie ever.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Probably none of these belong on a Mt Rushmore, but Breaking Away, Chariots of Fire, and Bang the Drum Slowly are all good ones from the 70's/early 80's.

And I'm not sure whether or not Everybody Wants Some is a sports movie - although it's as much of a sports movie as Die Hard is a Christmas movie - but that's a good one, too.

Gimme a couple, or your Rushmore. My initial quick take my 4 would probably be
Bull Durham
Hoosiers
Cinderella Man
the first 2 are locks for me. Cinderella Man is a strong 3rd, but maybe I replace it. 4th is wide open at the moment.

Okay I'm keeping Cinderella Man as my 3rd. 4th is down to SeaBiscuit or maybe Ford v Ferrari

I'm a life long runner, but Chariots of Fire is a snoozer for me. My HS coach always talked about "The Jericho Mile", but for me my goto running movie is Prefontaine, McFarland is also pretty good

Raging Bull is an excellent movie but not a sports movie I want to revisit the way I do others.

Rocky, Moneyball, Remember the Titans, Warrior.

But I've probably rewatched Dodgeball more than all of those combined.

The Sandlot is a Mount Rushmore sports movie and I don't care what anyone says.

I'd also throw in The Replacements.  I've probably watched that one the most.

Been banging out some older movies lately, ones that I've never seen:

Nighthawks - early Stallone role, pretty tense action movie with one of the best endings to an action film, ever.

No Way Out - Labyrinthine DC thriller with a great early Costner performance. Good twist ending.

Rumble Fish - Coppola film that flopped upon initial release but has become a cult film. I really liked it. Funky, art house vibe about a straight forward teenage gang story with some great early work from Matt Dillon, Mickey Rourke, Laurence Fishburne and absolutely smoke show Diane Lane.

Tried watching John Wick 4. Jesus is that movie needlessly long. And the same as the other sequels.

Predator: Killer of Killers.

You all should watch it, and then thank me for the great recommendation.

Very cool animated action movie.

Just saw The Life of Chuck. It was good, not great.

Took my youngest to see the live action remake of "How to train your Dragon" as fun a movie as the original.

On my list of things to watch this week, but gearing up for a VB trip to FL, so might save it for hotel viewing.
