What's the word on Pulisic? I see that he's still out, is he going to be able to play for the US next week, does Chelsea even want him to play next week after getting hurt last time out?
I read an update yesterday that he should be available to go for the US. Interesting to see if he gets on the roster for their UCL match tomorrow.
And shocker of shockers. Sheriff beats Real Madrid and leads their group with 6 points.

With all the WCQ going on its easy to forget other stuff. So just a reminder that UCL matches are back up tomorrow and Wednesday. Hope to see Pulisic back on the roster for Chelsea on Wednesday.

Final match day of the Group Stage is tomorrow and Wednesday. Several top teams still need points to advance including Barcelona. The draw for the knockout stage is next Monday and I will do a preview of that once the draw results are announced.

PSG held serve 1-0 at home against Real Madrid. Messi had a PK stopped by Courtois then late in the match Mbappe megged Courtois.
Man C was just way too much for Sporting CP in Portugal with the Citizens cruising to a 5-0 win.
Inter Milan hosts Liverpool and Salzburg hosts Bayern Munich today.

Salzburg had Bayern on the ropes but I guess you just can't keep one of the best attacks in the world off the score sheet. Bayern scored in the 90th minute giving them the road draw 1-1.
Liverpool won on the road at Inter Milan 2-0 in a fairly comfortable win.
So for these matches this week its going to be tough for any team but Real Madrid to come out on top. Man C, Liverpool, and Bayern all are playing at home next time.
Now for today's trivia note:
Brenden Aaronson created 5 chances in Salzburg's match against Bayern. The youngest player to create 5 chances in a UCL knockout match since 2008. The guy who created 5 chances way back then? Some unknown dude by the name of Lionel Messi!!!!!!
