I know we have a lot of questions this offseason, but man we need to bring Jacoby back. He's so huge for this team.

Torrey, Jacoby, Marlon, Mellette, Pitta. Not bad options for Joe.

Jacoby has been huge this last month....there is no doubt about that.

I mentioned in the game thread that Doss has been a non factor since Jacoby got healthy and really became so integral in the game plan.

Between that and his return game, he has been enormous for this team.

Don't think Joe was a big fan of that 3rd down draw play call, based on his comments in the presser. I agree, it was an awful call.

Should have been called on second down....awful call on third down.

The pass protection was amazing tonight.

The Dline vs Oline that we were so worried about wasn't a big issue at all.

Tons of credit to the Oline for how they played tonight.

Should have caught them very off guard, but it wasn't that productive. Productive enough though given the greatness of Tucker.

True enough... but we can't count on our running game to catch anything off guard. It's historically awful.

It's a big reason for their success period. Without a great ST, the Ravens don't make the playoffs last year or this year IMO.

Good chance you are right there.

It's all about building a complete football

Yep. Part of the reason why I don't love looking at QB record as much as some.

Elam had 10 tackles, 1 TFL and the INT to end the game.

The defense was awesome tonight.

Well you can count on it to catch a D off guard, but producing is a different matter.

The pick was a gift, but yes, the D and ST carried the team to this win.

@jeffzrebiecsun: Tucker said he hit from 70 yards in pregame warmups. Ball hit crossbar and went thru.

Bigger Baltimore/Detroit game-winner? Tucker or Dickerson?

(Of course it's Tucker, but I wanted to make the comment.)

Was talking about this with Drew tonight looking ahead to next year and whether they are going to sign him back. I think we're at the point where they have to.

He's created a nice role for himself. Contributing in the passing game both deep and intermediate. Beast returner. He's really become one of their best players. It'll be a big loss if they don't bring him back.

When you think back to the Ravens last X number of wins, Jacoby has played a huge role in the majority of them. They certainly don't win a Super Bowl without him and they certainly aren't in the playoff hunt this year without him.

Well obviously, but I think at this point they need to pay him what he's worth as an elite kick/punt returner and decent WR.

I would have said that they could replace him more cheaply if you would have asked me 4 months ago but at this point I think it's too big of a hole if they don't sign him back.

Don't underestimate how big of a role a beast returner plays on a good team either. Special teams TD's and good field position can really elevate good teams to great/elite. The fact that he's not a liability on offense seals the deal on him coming back IMO.
