Today is Flag Day! On June 14, 1777, the Continental Congress approved the design of a national flag.

Looks like Americans have to bail out the French again!

US donors have been footing Notre Dame work bills instead of French tycoons

Well without them, we likely don't gain independence when we did. So there's that.

That is indeed a random thought!

My oldest son is 12, so he actually wouldn't be far away from jumping into the social media scene.  If I would let him, which I probably won't anytime soon.

I think there was a father/son duo over at OH IIRC.  Maybe some poster named "Brian" and some other guy?

Seth's son could probably say some things.  He seems to be pretty good.

I really would love to hear more about this story.

Sounds to me that Brees made a dumb ass purchase, didn't do his homework and is now crying about it.

Best line in the article is that the lawyer for Brees said that they were traveling and that he hasn't told them about the verdict yet but he expects that they will be pleased.

Could you imagine having so much money that you don't even need to pay any attention to the outcome of your civil trial with $6M hanging in the balance. That's 6,000,000. Dollars.

I'm so fascinated with this decision.  I really hope more info comes out about it.

I see people all the time getting completely ripped off.  They pay 4000 for a ring that's worth $400.

People get ripped off when they buy lots of things.  Brand new homes will sell for well over what they are worth,  Furniture is one of the highest marked up items you can buy.

Where does it stop?  Is this only rewarded because Brees is a well known guy and got fucked out of millions?  What about the people who get fucked out of thousands, do they count?

Also, the mall jewelry stores or the stand alone stores like Jared hammer people all day long.  Will you go after big business or are you only going after the "little guy".

I just heard some more about this story and it was a case of fraud. I am glad it wasn't what I thought it was.

It’s still his fault in a lot of ways but they apparently blatantly lied to him about what he was buying.

Cell Phone Booster

Has anyone had experience with a cell phone booster for your car. I'm in need of one and was looking for any experience one would have. I've watched a bunch of YouTube videos, but first hand experience would be better.

Just realized that my favorite console of all time, the Sega Dreamcast, is 20 years old today.  Launched on 9/9/99.
