No teams are more excited about than Texas/LAA/Oakland, their lives just got a bit easier for the foreseeable future!

I agree, you really have a chance to make your mark. It's as close to starting from scratch as you can get from a non-expansion/relocated team with a new owner, being in a new league, etc. Nowhere to go but up as they say.It would be fun to be part of their FO right now, and I'm not being sarcastic.

In the video on the link, that's what they are saying, it's going to get worse before it gets better. This was a move for long-haul not to get better in 1-2 year span. Also mentioned in the video was Larry Bowa was interviewed but he wouldn't have been a good fit since patience was needed. I think the AL Central was weaker than the NL Central, but both are very weak. They're probably going to lose 110 games in what is widely considered the easiest division in baseball.
Next year they're moving to one of the toughest, if not the toughest.
They may very well break the record for most losses in a season next year.

Think he'll do better in this role as a coach and building a very young team. Always had a good reputation as a minor league anager.Good for him. I never disliked the guy, he just wasn't very good.
