What other organization would keep trotting him out there, I mean really, *sigh*.

These two tweets don't sound good for Chris.
Os will add a pitcher tonight. Could add a few players over next few days w DH tmrw
Tillman not an option in the bullpen. Buck said there will be more clarity on that situation postgame.

Im convinced its ownership who for whatever reason dont want egg on their face by releasing guys. Shouldve happened with Ubaldo. Didnt. Couldve happened with Miley. Didnt. DD had to use draft picks or int money to trade away Matusz and Webb.10 day DL lol
At least a foot has been put down to not run him out there anymore.

Wishful thinking, if you ask me.
Tillman will go five innings with Triple-A Norfolk on Saturday.

O's are so little league. Tillman is Buck's son. Continues to play even though he sucks. Best case scenario is he gets shelled in Norfolk and the O's are finally force to pull the plug on Tillman '18.

3.2 IP, 5 ER, 8 hits, 3 BB, 1 HR, 2 K qualifies. O's, the ball is in your court, make the obvious decision.

Yeah, time to let that one go. We have enough interesting pitchers to look at, at this point.

Shoulder injuries, man. Don't ever let anyone tell you they are anything but a death sentence. Anyone who comes back from more than a minor shoulder injury is a freak.

Still has that track record though. How many more chances should he get? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Just got a text from someone at the game in Frederick. Tillman has given up 5 runs in 2 innings.

No problem with Tillman taking every opportunity and chance he gets to try and find himself.
But if there is no improvement, and he's struggling in A ball... then the O's could end this at time. "Thank-you Chris for all that you gave us... we think it's time move on."
The fact that they continue to give him opportunities, says to me they still envision a possibility of him coming back up and getting another start in the Majors. Figuring there will be an opportunity int he rotation somewhere, and wanting him as someone they could tap if necessary.

There is just no rational thinking that could, at this point, remotely think Tillman will ever be a MLB pitcher again. Time, well way past time, to move on. He was a good guy and had a better career than most guys who wanted to play ML baseball but time to move on to his next career.
